The Essentials

1. Beds

Anchor Simulation offers a large collection of Hospital Beds and Stretchers, the foundation for a perfect simulation lab.

Nearly every patient interaction, assessment, medication administration, transfer, wound care, and emergency response begins at the bedside. A realistic hospital bed allows students to practice proper body mechanics, safe patient positioning, bed adjustments, and fall-prevention protocols in a setting that mirrors real healthcare facilities. When paired with manikins, monitoring equipment, and headwalls, the bed becomes the central hub of scenario-based training. Investing in quality hospital beds ensures learners don’t just practice clinical skills, but also practice them in the context where care actually happens.

With multiple options to choose from at Anchor Simulation, we can match your needs to the perfect solution for your simulation lab.

2. Headwalls

Beyond realism, our Headwalls improve workflow and scenario flexibility. They create a structured, organized bedside layout that supports the integration of monitors, IV pumps, and other essential equipment. This setup reinforces proper clinical habits from checking connections and managing tubing to maintaining a safe, uncluttered environment. For programs building a new lab, investing in headwalls ensures students aren’t just learning skills in isolation, but also training within the full context of bedside care, preparing them for the environments they will enter in their professional careers.

Perfect for classrooms, skills labs, or temporary training spaces, this mobile unit gives nursing students hands-on clinical experience wherever it’s needed.

3. Infusion Pumps

Infusion Pumps are essential to a well-equipped simulation lab because they allow learners to practice one of the most common and high-risk clinical tasks: medication and fluid administration. In real healthcare settings, infusion pumps are used to deliver precise amounts of IV fluids, antibiotics, vasopressors, and other critical medications. Incorporating them into simulation training ensures students develop confidence in programming rates, calculating dosages, troubleshooting alarms, and verifying safe infusion practices before working with real patients.
