Vata Basic Intraosseous (IO) Trainer, No Fluid, 5 Pack
VATA’s Basic Intraosseous Trainer gives you a simple, affordable option for learning and practicing IO insertions. The IO training model has a soft skin with thickness of 7mm, a cortical bone with thickness of 2.5mm and marrow with thickness of 28mm. The realistic feel of skin and bone material allow for amazing realism right up to the “drop” in resistance felt when advancing past the cortical bone. The low price point makes it possible to purchase multiple trainers for a larger class and allows for each intraosseous infusion trainee to practice many times. With proper use, you can get 100+ accesses from each intraosseous practice model.
New in 2024 – We made a few product updates based on customer feedback and usage:
- Removed the base
- Added 5mm to the product height
- Sold as 5 units instead of individually.
With these changes we’ve been able to significantly lower the per unit cost.
